Domestic Violence is a cancer upon any family exposed to it. There can be no excuse for it.
Domestic Violence robs the victim of safety and dignity. What is a family if it ceases to be an institution which shelters and protects is members, especially the most vulnerable - children?
Domestic Violence also robs the perpetrator of the respect of the community and the right to be counted as a civilized person. A pattern of Domestic Violence is unforgivable.
If your children are victims along with you, you run the risk of losing them to the juvenile justice system for failing to protect them. A one-time incident can be forgiven, but has consequences, including the possibility that your contact with your children will be severely limited.
If Domestic Violence has entered your family, you must take immediate action.
